Blood Tests
Phlebotomy is performed by our visiting phlebotomist three mornings a week, and also by the Health Care Assistant and Practice Nurses when required.
All bloods and samples are collected by the hospital at the end of the morning – we ask that you submit any urine or stool samples by 12 noon.
Test Results
Most blood and microbiology results are returned to us within 3 days. When ringing for test results, please only ring from 10am each day.
In order to maintain confidentiality test results will only be given to patients themselves, the parents of minors, or to carers if appropriate and at the doctor’s discretion.
