A comprehensive range of family planning services are provided during normal practice hours, including Implanon/Nexplanon insertions and removals, coil fittings and removals and contraceptive injections. We also provide a daily service for emergency contraception (morning after pill).

Diabetes, Heart Disease, Respiratory and Hypertension Clinics
These clinics are run by our specially trained Practice Nurses who will review and monitor you, in conjunction with the doctors. Education is an important aspect of your care, and we are here to support you; do not hesitate to ask any questions you may have.
Well-Person Clinics and Health Checks
We offer an accessible service of routine health checks for both sexes, and encourage screening where appropriate (including of course cervical smears for women). We will also invite you to a health check screening if you are aged between 40 and 74 and have no long term conditions. Prevention is always better than cure and we can also help you to give up smoking and lose weight if required. These appointment times are flexible to suit your needs.
INR ( Anti-coagulation ) Clinic
We offer appointments every Tuesday and Friday morning to patients who are on blood thinning medication (Warfarin) for INR testing. Please contact the surgery if you wish to attend these clinics.
Flu Clinics
Flu vaccinations are available from September each year. You are eligible for a flu vaccination if you are over 65 or are under 65 with a long term condition eg; diabetes, heart disease etc. You are also eligible if you are a carer.
Children born between 01 September 2011 and 31 August 2014 are also eligible for a flu vaccination.
Invite letters are no longer sent out so please watch for further information on the website or in the surgery about booking a flu appointment.
Clinics will be held during September/October - further information and dates to follow on the home page.
Minor Surgery
A wide range of skin lesions and small surgical problems can be dealt with in the practice. If you have any concerns over any type of skin lesion you may have, please make an appointment with the doctor who will assess and advise on further treatment.
Dr Kelsall performs the minor surgery procedures.
Travel Clinic
Travel Clinics are available for our patients who require basic travel vaccinations. These appointments must be planned well in advance (approx 6-8 weeks before you travel).

Please note that some travel vaccines are ordered on a private prescription and these incur a charge over and above the normal prescription charge (travel vaccination is not included in the services provided by the NHS).
If you require a Yellow Fever Vaccination, you can print the consent form via the link below, complete and return to us, before your travel vaccination appointment.
